A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. We dispatch Norwich units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
Too many Norwich, NY families have called a big national number only to get bounced through hold music before a random subcontractor shows up hours later, so Hirex Water Damage built its Norwich operation differently. Every technician on our Norwich roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Water Removal in Norwich isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We're fully insured and licensed to work anywhere in Norwich, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Our Norwich, NY-based equipment cache means drying gear is already close by, not stuck in a truck three states away.
Anyone in Norwich who has had a supply line fail overnight knows the real cost isn't the leak itself, it's how long the standing water sits before someone with the right equipment arrives. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Norwich call at a time.
The most expensive Norwich restoration jobs we run almost never started as a dramatic flood; they started as something small that got put off. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later — our Norwich dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
We size the Norwich response to the actual damage — a single-room extraction gets a two-person crew, a commercial loss gets the full fleet — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors that get standing water out of a Norwich property before it soaks deeper into the subfloor. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers based on actual psychrometric calculations, not a standard equipment count per room, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Norwich, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Multi-unit and commercial Norwich properties get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment to cover the real square footage, not a token setup — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Norwich get handled under strict Category 3 protocol: containment, PPE, antimicrobial application, and documented disposal of contaminated materials.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Norwich drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
Every Norwich estimate is written and explained before work begins — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.

Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider a Norwich job done, and getting there again is on us, not you.
Tell our Norwich dispatcher what's happening — we'll ask a few quick questions to send the right equipment on the first trip.
The closest available technician is routed to your Norwich property with equipment staged and ready.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
Daily moisture checks continue until every affected material reads dry, and you get a complete report at the end.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and we won't sign off on a Norwich job until those readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Norwich work order, not just in an ad. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
